Zonzo Estate on Healesville-Yarra Glen Road is one of our absolute favourites — for the energy, the atmosphere, and a food experience that guests are still talking about weeks later. After 30+ weddings here, we know exactly how to make the most of it.

Three ceremony options means every couple finds their fit: outdoors on the lawn with sweeping valley views, in the barrel room for a rustic, intimate feel, or in the modern cappella with air-conditioning and a view to die for. Once the ceremony wraps, your guests hit the lawn for canapés — including the arancini that consistently become a topic of conversation — while we explore Zonzo’s genuinely great photo locations. Vineyard, open field, tree-lined driveway, afloat on the dam in a boat, under the festoon lights — it’s all here. There’s also a spectacular golden-hour spot close to the restaurant, so we can slip out for a sunset session and have you back before anyone notices.

A word on the food: pace yourself. The arancini is just the opening act. Then comes the charcuterie, the pizzas, the giant shared platters of mains, the dessert. Strategise. If it rains on your day, don’t stress — some of our most-loved Zonzo shots are couples dancing under those festoon lights in the middle of a downpour.
