Tell me about your The Beginning!
So we first met (11 years ago!!!) at Eureka, I was a waitress and Josh was a chef. He was such a sweetie, I remember one night the head chef yelled at me because a customer wanted more bread. I asked the chef to get some and he went mental but Josh just handed me a basket of bread and smiled his cheeky smile. We’d go on nights out altogether often. One night I decided to hit on the young, hot chef that worked in the kitchen. We dated and low and behold he was the missing half of me.
When and where did you get engaged?
So Josh told me we weren’t going to get engaged until he had more money, probably in 2020. I was fine with this as I have never wanted to put pressure on an engagement. Josh is 5 years younger than me so I wanted to make sure he was truely ready. But when we were in Japan in Nov 2019, to my absolute surprise, he got down on one knee after a run and proposed! I love low key and thoughtful stuff so it was just the perfect way to do it.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We want relaxed, rustic and lots of food and wine – which I Know Zonzo is going to deliver!
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
We are so excited to be re-united with our families after so long, also the photos of Josh and I, I feel like we can get some really romantic shots together.
Keep it simple, relaxed, true to yourselves and don’t try to please everyone. What you guys want is what matters.
