Tell me about your The Beginning!
It all started at Retro nightclub on Lonsdale St back in 2019. I was dancing the night away, celebrating my friend’s hens party when Brad spotted me across the dancefloor and asked me to dance. After exchanging numbers, Brad tried to contact me the next day and realised that I had included an extra digit in my phone number – totally accidental on my behalf! Once he guessed the correct combination of numbers, Brad asked me out on our first date to dinner at Left Bank – and that’s the beginning of our story!

When and where did you get engaged?
Brad proposed on Christmas Day in 2021 in front of my family as we were all opening presents. I was so focused on watching my niece and nephew open their presents that my ‘decoy’ present remained unopened for a while with Brad thinking to himself ‘Open it already….I’m so nervous!’. As I began opening my decoy present, he moved from sitting beside me to down on bended knee and asked the BIG question. I love that he was brave enough to ask in front of my family and it’s extra special that we have photos as the moment was unfolding as Brad had worded up my Mum up a few weeks before.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Our theme is rustic and romantic glam.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Marrying our forever person and sharing the moment in front of our family and friends.
