The Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding of Vish and Viggy

Tell me about the beginning!

We first met on the dating app, Hinge, in August 2021. I was drawn to Vish’s witty bio and charming photos, and so I sent that all-important first message. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and within days, we both realized we had something special. Vish was immediately drawn to my kind and caring nature, and I was taken by Vish’s style, sense of humour and her open sociable nature.

After a few weeks of regularly messaging back and forth, we decided to meet up for a walking date and coffee along the Maribyrnong river. Vish brought Roger, her family dog to chaperone, which helped to break the ice as I fell in love with Roggie instantly and would soon fall in love with Vish too. It was a tranquil warm afternoon full of laughter, lots of pets for Roggie and great conversation.

When and where did you get engaged?

In 2022, we enjoyed Christmas surrounded by both our families. With my family visiting from India and all our loved ones gathered at Vish’s family home, the atmosphere was filled with love and joy. The following morning, as we reminisced about the challenges of an incredible year together and the joy of celebrating the holiday with all our family, I decided it was the perfect moment to propose. With a heart full of love and a sparkling ring in hand, I went down on one knee and proposed to Vish. With tears of joy in her eyes and her heart overflowing with love, Vish said “Yes!” Yaaayyyyy

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Enjoying our special day with our friends and family and ofcourse the photos
