Tell me about The Beginning!
We met through a dating app in August 2020 (standard millennials) and quickly moved to talking off app where we planned our first date, before meeting Yuko had to have a few glasses of wine and call me to make sure I was real though first. From there we planned our date at a park where we fed ducks, had coffee whilst doing laps talking. We ended up spending the night together drinking soju (my first time trying it too). From there we then saw each other every weekend making use of the covid social bubble, we became official June 2021 then Yuko moved in on February 2022 and the rest is history.
When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged in Japan during a holiday we planned together, Yuko suspected nothing despite me measuring her ring finger almost a year prior.
It was at a lookout of Mt Fuji but the clouds didn’t agree with the plan but that didn’t stop us.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Semi-formal attire and warm earth colours
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Seeing the vision come together of our wedding, everyone coming together for the special and most of all getting married!
