Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding of Laura and Alex

Tell me about your The Beginning!

We went to the same primary school but we didn’t re meet until 2013 as we were both plus ones to a party where we hit it off. Our first date was then a week later at a restaurant for dinner and following that Alex invited me to a beauty and the geek party and the rest is history.

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged at the Langham Hotel in February 2021 on the balcony overlooking the lights of Melbourne, Alex had organised it as a surprise and had my sister help decorate the balcony with rose petals and candles while we were having dinner.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Classic, romantic with a hint of vintage as we are having the same type of wedding cars as my parents had at their wedding.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

The beautiful venue and atmosphere that Stones has to offer! and of course hanging out with you Rick!

Top Tips!

Try and be decisive, and flexible as things change that aren’t always in your control which is one thing we have learnt from COVID- 19 and not to sweat the little things. And boys… just go along with what the bride wants 🙂
