As all good modern day love stories start it was a simple swipe right on Tinder. For our first date we met up for lunch followed by a movie, it was a wonderful day & we could be ourselves around one another straight away & the rest is history!

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged on the 20th of July 2023. It was my 30th birthday, we were on a holiday in Cairns & after a wonderful day followed by a great dinner out we headed back to our hotel room, I didn’t think Alistair was going to propose that night so I decided to get changed into my pyjamas, he had then ordered some champagne & after it had arrived he got down on one knee & popped the question. I was shocked at first saying babe I’m in my pyjamas which Alistair’s response was I don’t care what you’re wearing I love you. It was the easiest yes of my life.

The way it was done was so us & I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

The style we have chosen for our wedding day is a classic style.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Finally being married & getting to celebrate the day with all the people we care about.

It does not matter what anyone thinks about your colour scheme, bouquet, cake or any other element of your wedding day. What matters & what is truly important at the end of the day is that you & your partner choose what makes you both happy.
