Flowerdale Estate Wedding of Taylor and Cam

Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met 11 years ago at a friends house party and were instantly attracted to each other! We started texting and then dated for a few months but the timing just wasn’t right. A few years later we caught up (forceful planning by Cams mum unbeknownst to us both), we became friends and eventually started dating again! Our first official date was fish and chips by the beach in Dromana.

When and where did you get engaged?
After 7 years together, we finally got engaged on December 15, 2020 in Mornington.

The proposal replicated our first date on the beach with fish and chips (this time in Mornington, it was a little closer and neither of us could ever remember going there). It had been a warm day but as the sun began to set it started to cold. Cam offered to get our jackets from the car. He was gone for such a long time, I began to wonder if he had fallen down the hill or whether he had left me there. He eventually returned with our jackets, he had his hands full and asked me to grab the jacket. As I stood up, he dropped everything and got down on one knee with a ring box in his hand. I think I burst into tears and dont remember anything else.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We chose Flowerdale Estate because it feels so comfortable, almost like home. The best way to describe the theme is a country elegance. The colour palette we’ve chosen is, white, green, blush and gold.

We could never imagine ourselves with the big sit down menu and super formal wedding. We want our closest friends and loved ones to just have a great time and feel relaxed enough to let their hair down!!!

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Marrying each other! Nothing and no one else matters. Rain hail or shine.

Top Tips!
If possible, start planning early so you can get the vendors of your dreams.
Don’t stress the little things, marrying your soul mate is what everyone is there for.
Forget the noise and just be present with each other.
