Do I need a second shooter at Stones?

December 20, 2024

Stones of the Yarra Valley is one venue where you will find a lot of value in getting a second shooter. This is due to its chapel offering such a beautiful, unique perspective from the balcony, and also the tight schedule that Stones operates on.

Since your primary shooter can only be in one place at one time, your second shooter is instrumental in capturing the following scenes…

What would a Second Shooter capture at Stones?

Balcony Angle

in the chapel

While the primary shooter is in the aisle capturing the first look, the second shooter can be perched in the balcony getting this stunning perspective from above.

Reverse Angle

of the flower petal parade

When it's time to walk out into all your guests showering you with flower petals, the second shooter can remain inside capturing this from behind, framing your announcement with the beautiful Stones doorway.

02

Your Guests

At the Dairy

While you're off having your portraits taken, the second shooter can capture the laughs and action happening over at the Dairy with your guests. This is your ticket to seeing a beautiful part of the day you would otherwise never be privy to.

Reception Setup

In the barn

Think of all that time, money and effort you spent on styling your reception. The second shooter can make sure it's all captured before the guests are invited in from the Dairy.

How much is a Second Shooter?

All of this can be captured in just two hours.

Our rate for a second shooter is $200p/hr with a minimum of two hours, so everything I’ve listed above will be just $400.

If you would like your Second Shooter to cover one of your getting ready, this will give each of you more time for those preparation shots and portraits. In this instance, you could extend the second shooter to 4 hours.
