Tell me about your The Beginning!

Chris and I met on our Europe trip, in Croatia. Chris was traveling with a group of 4 friends and I was traveling with my cousin, Stephanie. We have never met before although only living 5 minutes away from each other in Melbourne. We met on the 14th of July just before we each set sail along the coast of Croatia and although we weren’t on the same boat we were lucky enough to stop at each island at the same time. Just when we thought our Europe romance was over we met in the greek islands in Mykonos. We were together for just short of two weeks. While Chris continued his 3 month Europe trip, it was time for me to come home. Chris and I continued to chat virtually and Chris surprised me with a beautiful bunch of red roses on my 21st birthday while still away.

When he returned home we finally got to catch up and the rest is history!

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged on the 24th of December (Christmas eve). Chris had bought his first home and thought it would be a great idea for us to host Christmas for the first time with both of our families. We organised a KK with everyone involved where Chris organised to have me as his KK and in front of all of our family as i opened a card saying ‘will you marry me’ kneeled down on one knee and ask the question. Obviously it was a YES! with a whole lot of tears – this was a massive surprise!

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Simplistic and classic.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

We are mostly looking forward to finally tying the knot after having to cancelling due to covid. however looking forward to having both of our families together and celebrate love!
