Tell me about the beginning!

We became friends at university when we were just 18. It always felt like there was something simmering within our friendship, even study dates and train rides home felt a little magical. Even after being friends for two years, the first few dates were still full of butterflies and nerves. It’s been a wonderful adventure ever since.

When and where did you get engaged?

It was right before dinner at one of our favourite wineries, Meletos. It took me by surprise and I couldn’t stop the tears or laughter. We spent the next few days at a cabin in the Dandenongs, tucked away in the heart of the forest. It was really nice keeping it our little secret for the trip, and waking up to a fiancé, a ring and surround views of the forest floor was pretty special.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Whimsical, ethereal with a touch of old-school romance.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Celebrating our love with all our closest friends and family all together in the one room. Feeling present with each other in the small moments, and also the big ones.
