Riverstone Estate Wedding of Reighan and Colin

Tell me about your The Beginning!
We first initially met through work and at the time we were with different people. We would often provide each other relationship advice and laugh over stories we had to share. We both eventually became single and started speaking more and eventually saw potential in each other.

The first date was when I got back from an overseas trip. I took her to the Dandenong ranges where we enjoyed a nice drive and views at the top of sky high. We had lunch and enjoyed our time their and decided to head to our next destination which was the Melbourne star. We got to the very top where it stopped and I thought it would be funny to get down on one knee and ask her to be with me (pretty quick on a first date right?) had a good laugh and it was good times from there.

When and where did you get engaged?
I engaged proposal planner to arrange a proposal setup in 180 panoramic views of crown towers. Packed a bag for her without her knowing, got the next day off work by asking her boss and surprised her when we got to Crown that we were staying the night. Long story short she walked in to find big marry me letters and then her knight in shining armour on one knee asking her to marry him.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Light and airy with a pop of black.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Other than hanging out with my man Rick, we are looking forward to celebrating the night away with our loved ones and making it a day/night to remember!

Top Tips!
Be organised, get your excel skills up and create a wedding spreadsheet with details of your suppliers, budgets, what’s been paid, what’s remaining and contact list of the guests. Get everything booked and out of the way early on as the closer you get the more things pop up!

Most important enjoy the process with your partner, it’s an exciting time and you want to live love and laugh in the moment.
