Immerse in the Yarra Valley Wedding of Jess and Billy

Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met when we were about 16 at a mutual friends birthday. Years passed and we met again at Law School. We developed a friendship over a year and began dating in 2013. We had a lots in common. Our first dates were spent going on late night drives, talking into the earlier hours of the morning, studying and eating. Since then, we have spent almost every day together and with our families and friends.

When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged at Montalto Winery after spending a very romantic and lovely private picnic. It was the perfect day!

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Elegant, fun and classy. The main colours are white, black, silver and dusty blue.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Other than hanging out with you, we look forward to spending our special day with our families and friends. We are looking forward to having fun, sharing our love with all our guests and taking it all in. We have been together for almost 10 years so this day is something we have both dreamt of and looked forward to for a long time. We are also excited to have our day captured by you so that we can create a photo wall at our house with photos of us, our family and closest friends.

Top Tips!
Our top three tips would be:

1. Talk about what you envisage the day to be and consult with one another. If your on the same page, it makes it a lot easier and seamless.
2. Enjoy the planning and take in the moments leading up to the day. We often get told that the day passes by very quickly. With that in mind, we have tried to take a step back after booking in a supplier or buying something for the wedding and getting excited about each step.
3. Remember that the day is all about the love you share for each other and your families. Some days will be more stressful than others but at the end of the day you love the person you’re marrying!
