Immerse in the Yarra Valley Wedding of Rachel and Nick

Tell me about your The Beginning!
All it took was one swipe right, thank you bumble!
Our first date was to a small cafe in Heidelberg to make sure that we weren’t crazy. I mean, we are crazy, but not in a murder documentary way.
From there many dates followed and we were offical a few weeks later. We hit to off really well very quickly. The more we dug, the more we realised that our lives have probably crossed paths on many times before we officially met.

When and where did you get engaged?
On the 1st of August 2021.
Rachel was in the dark a little bit but Nick planned a day out to the Mornington Peninsula for a lunch date.
On the way to our lunch spot at Paringa Estate we took the windy road up to Arthur’s Seat chairlift where we stopped at one of the lookouts.
Nick had prepared a video montage of our relationship to this point and at the end he asked Rachel to marry him.

Rachel was crying so much that the back of her dress broke and instead of having champagne at the lookout like originally planned we had to rush back down the mountain to go to Woolworths to get some pins to put her dress back together. After that we quickly rang both of our families before going to have our first lunch as an engaged couple.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We don’t have a dedicated theme however have asked our guests to dress formally and bring their dancing shoes 🙂

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Hanging out with you! of course! 😉
We are really looking forward to getting to celebrate us with all our closest friends and family.

Top Tips!
