Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding of Tessa and Justin

Tell me about the beginning!

We met on the apps right before COVID started. I was a nurse working in emergency at the time and when the pandemic began, I had to move out of home because of the risk to my parents and family. I ended up moving in with Justin and we’ve been together ever since!

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged in Mornington. We had a weekend away with our golden retriever Margot and on her first ever trip to a dog beach down there Justin proposed. It was a perfect day.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Very minimal. Stones is more than enough on its own, so we didn’t feel the need to add much to it.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Getting to celebrate with all of our friends and family and finally getting to enjoy all of the hard work that goes into planning a wedding.

Top Tips!

Just remember it’s your wedding. People won’t always agree with the decisions you make and you can’t please everyone. Plan a day that you know the two of you will enjoy and remember that none of it is as important as finding the person you want to marry in the first place.
