Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding of Lisa and Dan

Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met at a birthday dinner. We both had no intentions of coming. Dan was away in Portsea and Lisa was just coming as a plus one with one of her girlfriends. We both changed our minds at the last minute and decided to come. We got along like a house on fire. The rest is history!

When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged at Pt Leo Estate on Dan’s birthday. Everybody who knows Dan knows that he loves being spoilt. It most certainly is always about him on his birthday! Proposing on his birthday made it completely unexpected and so special for Lisa.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
European summer vibes, rustic, elegant, relaxed and all our guests will be in neutral tones. Linen encouraged and no ties required.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
We can’t wait to eat, drink and dance all night long with our family and friends.

Top Tips!
This wedding was all about how we wanted to celebrate our love. We kept some wedding traditions and broke some others. There was meaning to everything we did and we wanted to maximise the amount of time we get to celebrate with our friends and family.
