Tell me about your The Beginning!

We met in 2013 while Karl was backpacking around the world and stopped in Australia on a working holiday visa. I had just returned from backpacking in South America and we bonded over our thirst for adventure, travel, food & wine.

When and where did you get engaged?

In August 2019 Karl and I travelled to Greece with his parents and one day he asked me to swim out to a little island off the main coast and he had my ring in his waterproof backpack.
It’s pretty cool to tell people he proposed “on a private island in Greece”

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

We have aimed for a rustic/vintage feel.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

(Ella) I am most looking forward to all my nerves disappearing when I clock eyes with Karl waiting for me at the end of the aisle. And of course dancing the night away with all my favourite people.
