Tell me about your The Beginning!

We met how all great love stories meet these days – on tinder!
We went for ice cream at cold rock in lilydale – I picked Shannon up and drove. I’m very chivalrous haha
We just clicked, we got along so well and it was so comfortable right from the first date. Right before our second date I got sick and had to cancel and he brought me wet wipes for my nose, cold and flu medicine and a block of chocolate – deffs a keeper!

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engage on the beach at Cape Woolamai. I was 38 weeks pregnant at the time, Shan said let’s go to the beach and I was just like yeah I guess. And he said to me do you wanna get changed? And I just death stared him lol so we went to the beach – me in my leggings and oversized hoodie, messy bun and my huge pregnant belly. He had “Will you marry me?” Written in the sand on the beach when we arrived – I later found out 2 of out good friends where there ushering people around it so it didn’t get stomped on! Cape Woolamai was our first vacation as a couple, it was the same beach shan asked me to be his girlfriend on. It will always be a very special place for us

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

I didn’t really choose a style or a theme, I just picked the things I liked the look of lol my dress is simple & romantic biys suits a black, classic, our cake is pink and our guest book is the millennium falcon lol my bridal bouquet is being gifted to me on the day by a friend who owns a florist so I don’t even know what it looks like – Shan and I are both very easy going

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

The whole day! My dad walking me down the isle, getting to kiss my husband for the first time, our first dance (that we have actually been practising alot for!)

Top Tips!

In all honesty, covid and multiple postponements have taught us that – the details don’t matter. My 1 and only tip is don’t stress, it’s not worth it. Even if your day doesn’t go as you planned or doesn’t happen on the day you want, it’s still your wedding, and you’ll still look beautiful and the people that you spend it with are more important than the details. Just be present and be grateful, then nothing can go wrong ♡
