Tell me about the beginning!

Kaye and I knew each other as good friends and colleagues for over a decade as practitioners of forensic science and criminal justice.

Both of us don’t really know how or why our friendship suddenly changed from friendship to love, however it was intense passionate and enduring.

When and where did you get engaged?

We were engaged on 26 December 2022 at TarraWarra Estate, Yarra Valley. We enjoyed a sensational degustation at the now hatted restaurant, before a pre proposal beer/cider on the deck. Kaye cried as did some lovely folk sitting next to us.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

There is no theme as such, we love the eclectic style of the venue as it reflects our own tastes in our home. We chose cocktail to reflect this style.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Other than hanging out with Dave, bringing our families together for the first time is super special for both of us for this awesome happy occasion. We hope to share and celebrate our love for each other with family and friends

I think it’s different for us cause we are older, but stay super calm and get organised early. No one likes groom/bride zilla’s.
