Immerse Winery Wedding of Victoria and Edin

Tell me about your The Beginning!

We met whilst working at Boost Juice! Embarrassing I know. We were both 21-22 years of age and were studying at uni in our respective fields (nursing and physio). We flirted a lot, but didn’t get together for a few more years still.

When and where did you get engaged?

27/11/21 Edin bravely got down on one knee at sunset on the lawn at Portsea Hotel after a beautiful birthday dinner for me. The whole restaurant/bar cheered. We then both hauled ass out of there holding back our happy tears & ugly cry faces haha.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

‘Classic’ feels right for both of us regarding the vibe/feel of our wedding we want. We both want to mark the day in a super special and timeless way, whilst maintaining a happy and relaxed vibe..not too stuffy or formal. We are both romantic and emotionally intelligent people, with great senses of humour & fun and we hope that vibes is also relayed through our wedding as well.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing Edin’s face when I come down the aisle. Seeing everyone that is special to us in one place. Feeling all of their support for us. Smiling so much that my face hurts. Getting the “omg we’re married” feels..
Dancing. Having special ‘newlywed eye contact’ moments across the room once the receptions kicked off n we’re off mingling. Am pretty keen for cake too, won’t lie.

Top Tips!

As fun as it is to talk about your wedding stuff. Don’t share TOO much. Not for secretive reasons, but because you really don’t want TOO many other people’s opinions. They only confuse you! (You seem to get this whether you’ve ask for an opinion or not). Think about what things you ‘really’ want input on, and then mindfully select the right people whose opinion/s or thoughts you truly value. Don’t lose sight of what you and your partner want for the day!

Don’t over complicate everything. Trust your vendors, they are the experts on how these things are run and have YOUR best interests at heart.
