Immerse Winery Wedding of Rose and Brodyn

Tell me about your The Beginning!

Where all the fun began was the good old high school school bus. We both went to different high schools at the time but Brodyn would hop on the same bus home from Mooroolbark station. One day Brodyn sat behind me and asked me if he could borrow my phone to call his mum. (sneaky way of asking for my number 😉 ) I gave Brodyn my number and proceeded on my trip home never heard from him.

Months later Brodyns face showed up at Mooroolbark College he moved schools. (stalker 😉 hahaha )
Within weeks Brodyn and myself started talking and he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said yes but within 24 hours of this new exciting relationship I was stressing out about having to kiss this guy, I had never kissed anyone before so before the relationship even started i broke his little heart.

Years went by High school finished and Brodyn and myself where always friends, we shared the same classes at school when we where there, had the same group of friends which meant always socialising when school had finished at parties, clubs etc. We where always such great friends even when we both had our own separate relationships. Taking it back to the good old Dorset Gardens is where I saw Brodyn back in 2018 on grand final day weekend, he was doing what most blokes do on this weekend drink bulk alcohol & watch the footy. I went and said hello to Brodyn and had a drink, I could see he was not himself he was down because his relationship he was in came to an end. I to had been out of my relationship for quite some time which Brodyn had leant on me for advice on how I dealt with it and came out the other end. After back and forth messages, coffee dates and catch ups we found ourselves enjoying each others company so much that we both saw this going towards the rekindle of year 8 heart break haha! Brodyn asked me to be his girlfriend and I couldn’t say no! we are so similar in so many ways and we both love the fact our relationship started with such a strong friendship was so strong it just made everything so easy and a breeze! we didn’t have to start from scratch we already knew each other for so long.

When and where did you get engaged?

We got Engaged on the 5th of December 2020. We were staying at Crown for our anniversary and Brodyn surprised me with a ring on Southbank before dinner. He planned the whole thing with friends to be there to film the proposal I was absolute in shock!

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Formal wedding with a rustic vibe 🙂

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

1. hanging out with you obviously 🙂
2. saying I DO
3. celebrating our love with our nearest and dearest
4. just enjoying this day for all it is
