Tell me about your The Beginning!
I met Morten briefly over 10+ years ago at a friends house.
In April 2017 we both were at a 40th birthday. Morten and his mates happened to sit at the same table as me and my bestie. As we were all introducing ourselves I remembered I had actually met him before (Morten is not a very common name).
For the rest of the night my bestie was playing wingman and so were his mates. We exchanged numbers.
Two days later we met at Eighty One in Berwick for a drink. Talked until the place closed and they kicked us out.
Since then everything moved very fast but once you know and you have that connection, everything just felt right. Like we had been together for years.
Within 12 months we were living together, renovating and engaged.
We have been together almost 5 years. Struggled with IVF for 3 of those years. Throughout it all Morten was my rock.
Finally in March this year our precious little miracle was born. A baby boy – Levi. We are so blessed to have the happiest little boy.
He has changed all of our lives for the better. Since his arrival both our families are a lot closer. Levi and Jake have a very special bond. Levi absolutely loves his big brother.

When and where did you get engaged?
24/03/2018 during a romantic weekend away at RACV resort Inverloch.
Morten proposed on the beach. I had no idea he was going to propose. I loved the surprise. Looking back it explained why he insisted on packing and bringing his own bag. Plus busting my chops to go for a walk along the beach.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We are going for a rustic theme. Relaxed. Nothing elaborate. We have lawn games booked. Both of us want our guests to have fun.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Besides hanging with you,
I can’t wait to marry my baby daddy.
With IVF and COVID it’s finally happening.
