When Sarah and Rob chose to have their winter wedding at Stones of the Yarra Valley, they knew they could be up for a bit of rain. And sure, they were right, but what it delivered, however, was so much more.

The combination of dramatic clouds with Stones’ iconic trees, standing there leafless and majestic, overlooking buildings covered in the sprawling stems of boston ivy, made it an absolute dream to photograph. Throw in the magnificent rainbow that came along, the sun piercing through the sky, the reflections off the wet tiles and the beautiful mayhem of a bridal party running to get out of the rain, made this one of my favourite weddings.
