When Sarah and Rob chose to have their winter wedding at Stones of the Yarra Valley, they knew they could be up for a bit of rain. And sure, they were right, but what it delivered, however, was so much more.
The combination of dramatic clouds with Stones’ iconic trees, standing there leafless and majestic, overlooking buildings covered in the sprawling stems of boston ivy, made it an absolute dream to photograph. Throw in the magnificent rainbow that came along, the sun piercing through the sky, the reflections off the wet tiles and the beautiful mayhem of a bridal party running to get out of the rain, made this one of my favourite weddings.
Sarah and Rob had this to say about their experience:
From the moment we met Rick over a casual wine, we knew he was the wedding photographer for us!
Rick recently photographed our wedding at Stones of The Yarra Valley and absolutely took our day to a whole new level!
Rick’s fun, bubbly, chilled vibe mixed with his professionalism is the perfect combo. Rick guided us through the whole day – we felt like Rick wasn’t only our photographer, but a friend who was a part of our special day.
Within 24 hours, Rick sent us a slideshow of preview photos which we were blown away by. We love being able to relive the entire day by looking back at our photos as Rick captured every single moment so perfectly – they are colorful, energetic and so happy!
We can’t thank Rick enough for the beautiful photos that we will cherish forever but also for all of his support along the way.
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, Rick is your man!
