Portsea Hotel Wedding of Corinne and Kyrran

Tell me about your The Beginning!
Kyrran was living in Vic but frequently travelled to SA for work, which is where Corinne, the Adelaide girl lived. We met when we worked together and struck up a great friendship. C shortly after moved to Brisbane for work, and it wasn’t until then that we started dating officially, and between us we were travelling interstate nearly every weekend to be with each other! On our Melbourne weekends we’d spend time eating and drinking our way through little bars and laneways, and on our Brisbane weekends we’d enjoy the sunshine in Southbank or go for walks in the Hinterland. Needless to say it didn’t take long for C to make the move to Melbourne for love.

When and where did you get engaged?
Somewhere between lockdown 5, 6… or was it 7? Kyrran had the great idea that we should go for a walk through the Botanical Gardens on the Saturday. Completely busted – I knew straight away what he was up to! Or so I thought… That was until he completely surprised me by proposing Friday night instead, in our home. Our two little puppies, who were only 16 weeks at this point had somehow been trained to sit completely still and watch as he got on one knee to propose. A huge bouquet of roses and French champagne was on the ready. I said yes, of course!

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Classy and relaxed.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Having everyone together – we’ve got visitors from Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and QLD. Kyrran’s brother is travelling all the way from Dubai. Particularly after the last 2 years it’s going to be so special to have everyone together celebrating this special day with us.
