Levantine Hill Estate Wedding of Sophie and Alex

Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met at university through mutual friends when we were students attending the same conference. We went to different universities and would try to see each other regularly at conferences and events from then on. Our first date was at Alex’s university ball and we’ve been together ever since!

When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged at our favourite restaurant, Spirit House, in the Sunshine Coast in October 2020. Alex had a whole fake plan to throw me off the scent with close friends coming to have dinner with us. They ‘cancelled’ at the last minute and we got moved to a private area where one of the waiters was playing Taylor Swift songs (my favourite!) on guitar and I thought it was the best coincidence! I didn’t realise until Alex proposed at our favourite dinner course that it was all a set up.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Modern, laidback, non-traditional

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Seeing all of our nearest and dearest and dancing up a storm!
