Congratulations to Caitlin and Andy on their beautiful Thornton wedding on their property in country Victoria on the 28th October, 2017.

As I rolled up the magnificent tree -lined driveway, passed the wandering alpacas, horses, chickens and my favourite, the pig, I knew I was in for refreshingly unique wedding.

Precious Fawcett led a heartfelt ceremony in front of the stables where little Olivia saw her mummy and daddy become husband and wife. Miraculously, we beat the rain which had been forecast at a 90% chance of thunderstorm. It did eventually hit, as we watched the dramatic clouds envelope the property from the shelter of their impeccably styled helicopter hanger (another one of the perks of a country wedding)

As the lightning cracked down and the marquee descended under an inch of rain, everybody simply kicked off their shoes and danced in the mud. It beautifully epitomised the positive attitude that Caitlin and Andy evoked in everyone around them.

Thank you so much for inviting me to capture your Thornton wedding. I can’t wait for Olivia to grow up and see what an awesome day she was a part of 🙂
