It is not every day that you get to fly in a helicopter across one of our state’s most scenic areas. For most people, that day probably never comes. But for Brooke and Ryan, it was their wedding day. And what a memorable one it was.
Starting out with their beautiful tear-welling ceremony in the central gardens in Alexandra, a helicopter then landed on the cricket field (mid game! Thanks to the players!) to escort us over the Bogong plains to the iconic mountaintop location, Craig’s Hut.
In my time shooting weddings, I can’t say I’ve seen a better spot for location photos. It seemed to encapsulate everything beautiful about Victoria. As we made our way back to the Acheron Hall for the reception, I felt so priveleged to have been invited along for the ride and to have been a part of this great high country wedding.
