You gotta love a Byron Bay Wedding. Seriously. How can you not? There’s a reason so many of Georgie and Rob’s friends and family flew in from the UK for it. They hosted the perfect Fig Tree Restaurant wedding on the lawn overlooking the beach, with lush vegetation, the sea on the breeze and a palpable mood to party.
Georgie got ready in the gorgeous Dairy room while her bridesmaids showed me what goes on behind clothes doors… dance offs to Tina Turner! And the boys opted to start the day off with a beer tasting masterclass at the Stone & Wood brewery – best prep location ever!
Anna Bauer from https://celebratewithanna.com had everyone in stitches with her brilliant account of how Georgie and Rob met over glassy eyed salmon at the fish counter.
After a few beers in their awesome custom holders (see photos below), we jumped in the minivan and headed for the beach!! Shoes off, beach to ourselves, we watched the storm clouds roll in to Byron, but we couldn’t be having more fun. And that, I think, is how life rolls with these two. Out to have a bangin’ time, regardless of circumstance. Absolute legends.
